  Interface

The interface is based on the concept of a working field or a document containing input and output lines. The work is carried out in a session mode: you enter phrases (commands, expressions, etc.) which are taken in by Infinity. After the phrase input in the string a response appears under the phrase immediately: the result of the command execution or an error message . Pressing on 'Enter' starts the command execution. If the entered phrase is a complete sentence, its execution follows. Having found an error, Infinity informs about it in the next line.

The editor supports standard input/output functions - text copying, paste, deletion and objects. Data input lines are highlighted red. Lines of system response to the entered phrase are highlighted blue.
During the entered phrase processing the working sheet editing is impossible. If the command processing is delayed, it is possible to interrupt it by pressing a toolbar button stop.gif (893 Bytes). A differential equations system solving is accompanied by a plot construction.
